This event is open to all with an interest and you can now register online. You are advised to read the following information and our terms and conditions prior to completing your booking.

Fees

The registration fee includes lunch and refreshments across the 3 days, a welcome reception (hot fork buffet), the conference banquet and all event material. The registration fee also includes 2 nights accommodation at the University of Warwick from Wednesday 4 July - Friday 6 July with breakfast included. There is a separate registration fee that excludes accommodation if you do not intend on staying at the University. If you require additional nights accommodation, please contact jon.roe@iop.org.

A discount of £30 will be applied to the above fee for those who register online and pay using a valid credit or debit card.


The discount will be applied at the basket page when "credit card" is selected as the method of payment. The Conferences department reserve the right to amend your fee without prior notice if an incorrect payment method is selected. Please note the discount is only available until the registration deadline.

Cancellation and refund policy

The Institute operates a cancellation policy as follows. All cancellations must be made in writing.  Full details can be found in our terms and conditions which are available online at www.iop.org/conferences/regterms. Please make sure you have read and understand the T&Cs before registering for the conference. Submission of a registration is regarded as a firm booking (subject to availability) and acceptance of these terms and conditions.

If the written cancellation is received by the Institute:

  • at least six weeks prior to the first day of the event, a full credit/refund will be issued
  • less than six weeks, but at least three weeks, prior to the first day of the event, a full credit/refund minus a 20% administrative charge will be issued
  • less than three weeks prior to the first day of the event, or you do not attend the event, no refund will be issued.

Payment of fees

In order to ensure that it complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") and for the protection of its members and others, the Institute of Physics will only accept credit and/or debit card payments online through RBS WorldPay secure payment server. All payments must arrive by 28 June 2018 After that day, all unpaid registrations will be cancelled.
